Pursuant to its Establishing Decree No. (23) of 2014, the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai (SLC) is authorised to translate into foreign languages the local legislation, issued by the Dubai Government and its entities, which the SLC deems necessary or useful to be translated. This is intended to increase legal awareness across the Emirate of Dubai and to ensure proper understanding of the legislation in force in the Emirate. Government Entities may, through the Dubai Legislation Digital Platform, request the translation of any local legislation published in the Official Gazette of the Government of Dubai.
Government Entities may submit a Legislation Translation Request to the SLC through the Dubai Legislation Digital Platform by clicking on the request submission link, logging in, providing the necessary information and data, and clicking the submit button.
The Dubai Legislation Digital Platform also provides access, through the Dubai Legislation Portal, to all translated local legislation. This initiative is designed to disseminate legal knowledge within the community.
