Approving the Manual on Regulation of the Work of

Ambulance Service Providers in the Emirate of Dubai[1]

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services,

After perusal of:

Law No. (12) of 2015 Concerning the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (the “DCAS”);

Law No. (32) of 2015 Concerning the Official Gazette of the Government of Dubai;

Decree No. (25) of 2014 Forming the Board of Directors of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services;

Executive Council Resolution No. (30) of 2011 Regulating the Work of Ambulance Service Providers in the Emirate of Dubai;

Executive Council Resolution No. (33) of 2022 Appointing the Executive Director of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services; and

The presentation of the Executive Director of the DCAS, and

In accordance with work requirements,

Does hereby issue this Resolution.

 Approval of the Manual

Article (1)

1. Pursuant to this Resolution, the attached fourth edition of the Manual on Regulation of the Work of Ambulance Service Providers in the Emirate of Dubai (the "Manual"), inclusive of the requirements, procedures, and technical standards set forth therein, is approved.
2. The DCAS must publish the Manual approved pursuant to paragraph (a) of this Article, and any updates or amendments thereto, on its website.

Reviewing and Updating the Manual

Article (2)

The Executive Director of the DCAS is hereby vested with the authority to review the Manual referred to in Article (1) of this Resolution, and to update it on a regular basis.

Implementing the Manual

Article (3)

All Establishments engaged in providing Ambulance Services in the Emirate of Dubai must comply with the Manual approved under this Resolution, as may be updated or amended from time to time; and must take the necessary action required for its implementation.

Repeals

Article (4)

Any provision in any other administrative resolutions, manuals, or instructions is hereby repealed to the extent that it contradicts the provisions of this Resolution or the attached Manual.

Publication and Commencement

Article (5)

This Resolution will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force on the day on which it is published.
