The General Secretariat of the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai (SLC) launched the Shield of Zayed Award in commemoration of the inspiring legacy and sublime principles of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The initiative demonstrates the SLC's commitment to encouraging its staff to pursue the outstanding achievements of the founder of the United Arab Emirates as an exceptional global leader, and to realise his vision of catapulting the UAE to the forefront, among the most advanced nations in the world by means of prosperity, tolerance, peace and charitable giving. The launch of the Zayed Shield award initiative was attended by Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar Al Muhairi, SLC Secretary General, Mohammed, Mohammed Jumaa Al Suwaidi, SLC Assistant Secretary General, together with SLC senior officers and staff members.
