A request to study and review all draft local legislation proposed by the government and government agencies in terms of form and subject matter, to provide opinion and advice on them, and to prepare and approve the legal drafting of those projects in preparation for their approval by the competent authority
The proposed legislative instrument must be consistent with the instrument prescribed by the legislation under which the request for formation of the board, committee, or work team is submitted. Where the request for formation of the board, committee, or work team is not supported by legislation, the requesting entity must state the grounds or the directives warranting the formation, if any.
Executive Resolution means a resolution issued, in pursuance of the provisions of the relevant main legislation, by the competent authority in exercise of its powers under such legislation to implement the provisions of this legislation. This authority is subject to and complies with the main legislation and may not amend any of its provisions, add new provisions, or repeal it. Basically, the issuing authority may only detail the generalized provisions of the main legislation.
