Extending the Tenure of the
Dubai Expo 2020 Office[1]

We, Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council,
After perusal of:
Law No. (26) of 2023 Concerning the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai;
Decree No. (49) of 2013 Forming the World Expo 2020 Preparatory Committee (the “Preparatory Committee”) and its amendments;
Decree No. (30) of 2014 Establishing the Dubai Expo 2020 Office (the “Office”);
Decree No. (31) of 2014 Appointing the Director General of the Dubai Expo 2020 Office;
Decree No. (16) of 2022 Concerning the Dubai Expo 2020 Office;
Executive Council Resolution No. (80) of 2023 Extending the Tenure of the Dubai Expo 2020 Office; and
Based on the recommendation of the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee,
Do hereby issue this Resolution.

The tenure of the Preparatory Committee, the Office, and the Director General of the Office is hereby extended, and they will continue to exercise their duties and powers under the legislation in force in the Emirate, until 31 December 2024.
This Resolution comes into force on 1 January 2024, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
