Celebrating this day calls for concentrating the efforts of countries and organisations to deal with the world humanitarian crises and to support the foundations, organisations, and relief teams in carrying out their noble mission. The World Humanitarian Day is a cherished occasion in the UAE, which has always been at the forefront of undertaking humanitarian work and launching charitable initiatives, lending a helping hand to poor communities and crisis-stricken countries, following in the humanitarian path charted by the UAE founding father, His Highness the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
