On the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day, we would like to express our highest appreciation and deepest gratitude to the ‘Mother of the Nation’, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairperson of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation. H. H. Sheikha Fatima is a pioneer in empowering and supporting women in the UAE; Her Highness has set an inspiring and illustrious example in altruism, generosity, and diligence. As we mark this cherished occasion, we, at the SLC, take pride in the significant accomplishments achieved by Emirati women, and we renew our commitment to empowering female professionals and securing a strong position for them in the legislative field by launching and promoting initiatives that will support the role of women as a driving force for legislative excellence.”
