The Central Indicators Development Project is a crucial component of efforts to enhance legislative audit and institutional excellence in the Emirate of Dubai. In collaboration with the Legislative Audit Directorate, the Organisational Excellence Section, and the Dubai Government Excellence Programme, this project was implemented to develop and apply a set of central indicators to measure and analyse government performance across various sectors.
These central indicators are designed to provide a solid foundation for assessing the effectiveness, efficiency, and innovation in the delivery of government services, while ensuring transparency and accountability. Key competencies and necessary enablers for the accurate and reliable measurement of these indicators will be established, including the development of electronic systems, training of human resources, and the creation of tools for data collection and analysis.
This project underscores the Emirate of Dubai's commitment to advancing digital transformation and enhancing the quality of life for its residents by improving government services and achieving leadership in government excellence. Moreover, it presents an opportunity for the exchange of best practices and expertise among various government entities, fostering collaborative efforts towards achieving the Emirate's strategic goals.
